You may hear this new buzz-word for the first time as you are reading this article, but the term Phablet is one that will become one of the biggest hits in 2013. A Phablet is a device that fills the gap between smartphone and tablet. Think for instance of the Samsung Galaxy Note and the upcoming Apple iPad Mini. Size-wise they are slightly larger then a conventional smart-phone, and somewhat smaller then a conventional tablet. In 2013 a wide selection of phablet-models will start to see the daylight, produced by many different brands. So start getting used to the word PHABLET, it will surely become one of the biggest trends in 2013!
